Your Destiny Awaits You

A Word to the Men of Bay Area Maranatha Christian Center

By Senior Pastor Dr. Tyrone Partee

Let me ask you a direct question.

Do you know who God called you to be?

Not who your job says you are. Not what your past says about you. Not what other people decided for you when you were too young to push back. I am asking about the man God designed on purpose, before you got here, for a purpose that is still waiting on you.

That man is still in there.

Father’s Day is coming. And every year, we take a Sunday to celebrate fathers and honor men. That is good and right. But I want to go deeper than a celebration. I want to talk to you about your destiny.

What a Season Looks Like When God Is Doing the Work

By Executive Pastor Dr. Alicia Partee

There is a version of this update I could write that sounds like a highlight reel.

Degree earned.

Book published.

New tool released.

Celebrate and move on.

But that would not tell the whole truth.

And if there is one thing I have learned over the years, it is that people do not need polished stories nearly as much as they need honest ones.

This season has been one of the fullest and most tender seasons of my life. Full of accomplishment. Full of purpose. Full of moments where I had to trust God while standing in places I did not completely understand yet.

So let me tell you what actually happened.

Ministry Spotlight

The Food Pantry, a table that keeps getting longer.

In March and April 2026, Bay Area Maranatha Christian Center continued to serve as a source of hope and provision for families throughout the community through our ongoing food distribution efforts.

In March 2026, we had the privilege of serving 2,603 individuals across 703 households. This included 890 children, 1,265 adults, and 448 seniors. Every bag distributed represented more than food. It was care, dignity, and support for families navigating real challenges. Through this outreach, we remained committed to ensuring that no one feels forgotten and that every person served experiences the love of God in a tangible way.

In April 2026, our outreach expanded even further as we served 3,368 individuals across 595 households. Among those served were 1,271 children, 1,542 adults, and 555 seniors. In addition, 596 snacks were distributed to support individuals and families in need. These numbers reflect not only growing community needs, but also the continued faithfulness of our mission to provide nourishment, encouragement, and compassion to those we serve.

Together, these two months represent thousands of lives impacted through practical support and consistent community care. We remain grateful for every volunteer, partner, and supporter who helps make this outreach possible as we continue extending hope and demonstrating God’s love through service.

This is impact. This is outreach. This is love in action.

Stories of impact

Lives being rewritten,

one chapter at a time.

Congratulations to Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Alicia Partee

Some achievements are not just personal milestones. They are a testimony.

Bay Area Maranatha Christian Center celebrates our Senior Pastor, Dr. Alicia Partee, on receiving her doctoral degree, not simply because of the credential, but because of what it represents. Years of discipline. Seasons of faith. A commitment to growth that never required her to step away from who she is or the people she serves.

Dr. Partee leads from wholeness. This moment is an extension of that.

We thank God for the work He continues to do in and through her life, and we celebrate a leader who shows us that calling and excellence are not in competition.

Congratulations, Dr. Alicia Partee. This is well-earned, and it is only the beginning.

A Day of Joy at Disneyland

Because of the partnership with Santa Clara County, families experienced something many had never had before.

Joy filled the day.

Children laughed freely.

Parents watched their kids light up.

For many, this was more than a trip.

It was a moment of relief.

A moment of connection.

A moment of being seen.

Families spent time together without pressure.

Kids created memories that will stay with them.

Parents were reminded they are not alone.

This experience brought a sense of hope.

A sense of belonging.

A sense of new possibility.

This is what impact looks like.

Thank you, Santa Clara County, for investing in our families.

Continue to support moments like this. Stay engaged.

Mission Possible Graduation

We gathered to celebrate something powerful as men and women stood not at the beginning, but at the finish line. Each person carried a story marked by challenges faced, decisions made, and commitments kept. They showed up when it was not easy and stayed when it would have been easier to quit, choosing growth and real change. This was more than completing a program. It was about building discipline, restoring identity, and stepping into purpose. You could feel the joy, pride, and gratitude in the room as lives moved forward, families were impacted, and new paths began to open. This is what transformation looks like.

Give. Sow. Believe.

Lives are being restored.

Families are being strengthened.

Purpose is being awakened.

Every gift sent through Maranatha becomes a meal on a table, a Bible in a hand, a chair pulled up for someone who thought they had nowhere left to sit. Be part of what God is doing.
